FOR THE GOALS
Issue
Japan's disaster prevention and adaptation measures, which should be globally competitive, are not being effectively exported.
As the world increasingly seeks to adapt to climate change, Japan, a disaster-prone nation with decades of accumulated expertise in disaster prevention and adaptation measures, faces the challenge of effectively exporting these solutions internationally.
Approach
Organizing and systematizing an all-Japan disaster prevention framework.
We are developing a framework that organizes Japan’s unique disaster prevention measures into a systematic menu, allowing countries suffering from issues such as rising sea levels and floods caused by climate change to select strategies tailored to their specific regions.
