Issue

Labor shortages in the logistics industry and disaster response.

Japan’s logistics industry faces chronic labor shortages, compounded by challenges such as delivery disruptions caused by transportation network breakdowns during disasters.

 

Approach

Development of drone port infrastructure and a licensing model.

As a solution to logistics challenges, we facilitated the social implementation of drone logistics by developing a low-cost drone port infrastructure that can be shared among businesses and establishing a licensing model to support sustainable research and development.
