Rei Amano
Senior Executive Officer,Life Sciences Department
Joined the company in March 2021 after working in technical sales at a major air conditioning equipment manufacturer.
Why did you choose e-solutions?
Although my previous role involved sales at a manufacturer, I wanted to be more involved in solving client issues from a higher level, so I considered switching to consulting firms.
Despite initial concerns about changing industries, driven by the information I received during interviews that most people joining e-solutions have no prior consulting experience and contribute to projects using their diverse backgrounds.
What kind of work do you handle, and when do you feel a sense of accomplishment?
One of the projects I am involved in is managing the business operations of NC Medical Research, which is developing cell therapy drugs for acute ischemic stroke.
The clinical trials are ongoing, and I am involved in management, business planning, and securing necessary funding.
Managing a biotech venture is challenging, but seeing the progress in drug development makes me feel that we are getting closer to delivering a groundbreaking drug to the market.
What have you grown and what skills have you acquired at e-solutions?
Developing something novel like a cell therapy drug for acute ischemic stroke requires advanced knowledge and experience in both drug development and management. NC Medical Research includes specialists from various fields, both domestically and internationally, and I have been able to advance projects while acquiring their expertise.
