Issue
The exploration of new business opportunities in the expanding senior market is insufficient.
The proportion of seniors in Japan’s population is expected to reach 41% by 2055, earning the country the title of a “pioneering nation in aging.” In response, domestic electronics giant Company A has been exploring new business initiatives utilizing its network services.
Approach
We have designed three services under the theme of "monitoring the health status of seniors."
Under the theme of “monitoring the health status of seniors,” we devised three services: “meal management,” “exercise management,” and “medication management.” All these initiatives involve collaboration among pharmacies, fitness gyms, retailers, local governments, and other entities, sharing information among stakeholders to ensure consistent contact with seniors.
