Japan’s lag in industrializing decarbonization efforts.

Japan is falling behind in the “industrialization” of decarbonization due to a lack of a holistic perspective, unlike major countries that treat the decarbonization shift as a growth opportunity and align policies, technologies, and businesses to support their industries.

Approach

Proposals for a national strategy on "carbon neutrality."

As part of our efforts to propose a national strategy for achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, we conducted a lecture on “Decarbonized Society and Industrialization” for key stakeholders, emphasizing the need for Japan to align with global trends, sustain industrial competitiveness, and boost national enthusiasm.
