Issue

The lack of opportunities for active involvement leads to elderly individuals becoming homebound or experiencing solitary deaths.

Many seniors aged 65 and older are still eager to work, but most companies only allow employment until the age of 70. Additionally, the number of retirees who maintain close relationships with their neighbors has been declining year by year, leading to increased social isolation among seniors. Consequently, issues such as elderly seclusion and solitary deaths are becoming increasingly prominent.

Approach

We have devised two business proposals that appeal to the enthusiasm of both seniors and companies.

By combining the expertise of seniors with regional challenges, we devised two business proposals. The first involves organizing active seniors in the community to establish a system for conducting safety checks over the phone for users of monitoring services, thereby reducing monitoring costs. The second proposal engages the baby boomer generation, who are becoming central figures in their communities, as community coordinators under sales outsourcing contracts to facilitate joint procurement between communities.
