Proposal for Supporting Hiroshima Tourism
- INDUSTRY, INNOVATION AND
INFRASTRUCTURE - SUSTAINABLE GITES AND
COMMUNITIES
Issue
Declining competitiveness of regional industries and population decrease.
A client located in the Setouchi region is facing intense competition from international players in its core manufacturing business. Additionally, the region as a whole is threatened by a declining population.
Approach
Formulation of new business proposals to support tourism in Hiroshima.
At eSolutions, we targeted the tourism market and developed a tourism promotion strategy for the Bingo region. Reflecting changes in tourism trends, we proposed the following new business ideas: athlete meals using Setouchi ingredients, a “Seto Bride” experience service, a visual storytelling information service about Bingo, the development of a Setouchi-style amphibious bus, a payment service for tourists in Bingo, and a rejuvenation experience service at “Seto’s Dragon Palace.” Through these initiatives, we aimed to stimulate the regional economy and promote tourism.
